COMPUTERS.....Do we really need them???

 


We are indeed part of the digital age revolution. Just like colour T.V's are available in every house today, so will computers be, maybe in the next 10 years, or even earlier.  These small, but very powerful machines, are very simple in operation, but are capable of executing millions of simple tasks and instructions in seconds, this is what makes these beasts, complex.  So, a computer basically is thousands or even millions of transitions, in the form of switches, taking place simultaneously, that's all !!!!

Well, the thing that's mentioned the most today is probably the internet (connection of all pc's in the world) and in the next few years we will be doing extraordinary things on the net.  We will all be communicating, shopping and chatting to friends and family on the world wide web (WWW), even though they might be residing right next door to you!!!!.  Will this be our social life in the new millennium?? Things like this make you wonder, if we really are heading towards a better future? What do you think?
